What Hilary Clinton would do to America

Clinton has said that one of her immediate priorities, if elected would be to extend Presidents Obamas executive actions on immigration, giving a broad group of undocumented immigrants the opportunity to apply to law enforcement for a reprieve from deportation.

The courts, however, have stymied Obamas most recent effort to give temporary relief to several million undocumented immigrants. Whether Clinton would be able to do any more depends on whether the courts agree that the president has the authority to do more.

Any pro-immigrant rights voter should know by now that Trump will be everyone's worst nightmare when it comes to Immigration laws. As an attorney, I am sad to say that I will become rich as I will be in Immigration Court all day fighting deportations if he comes to power. But as an immigrant of Turkish parents myself, I quiver at the ramifications of a president like Trump.
