USCIS Welcomes Approx. 20,000 New U.S. Citizens in Naturalization Ceremonies
Between the days of February 12-22, the USCIS will be welcoming approximately 20,000 new U.S. citizens around President’s Day. They are doing this to recognize that regardless of political views and backgrounds, our presidents have recognized that we could not have succeeded as a nation without the contribution of immigrants. The USCIS encourages new citizens and their families and friends to share their naturalization experiences. This President’s Day the USCIS will be sharing the stories of naturalized U.S. citizens, whose children became president.
So the question in every immigration lawyer's mind is, WHY ISN'T EVERY PERMANENT RESIDENT APPLYING FOR CITIZENSHIP ???
